WARNOCK NOMINATED FOR MANAGER OF THE MONTH
Cardiff City FC
09/02/17
Neil Warnock has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award for January.
The City boss is included in the EFL's four-man shortlist for the prestigious award, alongside Paul Lambert (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Alex Neil (Norwich City) and Jaap Stam (Reading).
During January, Warnock's men won every league game that they played at Cardiff City Stadium, turning over Aston Villa, Burton Albion and Preston North End.
The month also saw the Manager secure the Severnside Derby bragging rights, as the Bluebirds came from behind to defeat Bristol City in dramatic fashion at Ashton Gate.
The winner of the EFL's Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award will be announced on Friday, 10th February 2017.

To be fair his last couple of games has been alot more improved than early part of season. Think it will go to wood or Lawrence.

Well deserved, by far the best of our midfield trio in January.

Ralls??? Have I missed something here? I thought he had been bang average, as usual!

Stockdale deserves it for that double save against Wednesday, class penalty save and follow up save was ridiculous. It showed how much it meant to him and his team mates the way they mobbed him.

Haven't got a clue how Ralls is on that list!

I voted for ralls to be MoM after bristol and reading games. he may not go bursting past players and scoring goals etc but the work he puts into the team is unreal. Anytime a full back lost a ball go if forward he was in their position covering for them. any breaks from the opposition, he was first busting a gut to get back. these players can be just as vital as your flair players sometimes.

Bit confusing this one.

I voted for Ralls as well and in most games IMO he is either MoM or 2nd. I think he covers brilliantly for Whitts and Gunnar and is the only mobile player we have. Really disappointing delivery for set plays when he had his chance, but probably still second best.
Gunnar was terrible last game but MoM on here ????

Warnock is in with a shout but with Ralls I'm struggling.

Great news! Well deserved both!

They must have got it wrong.
Is there a player with a similar name playing for another club?

I feel sorry for Ralls I think somebody's pulling his chain.
If Warnock gets the backing I can't see him being anywhere near the first team.
The midfield is our Achilles and needs over all if we are to do anything next season.

Well done to both for being nominated - My money would be on Tom Lawrence - He's been on fire of late .
