OMAR BOGLE

Wed Feb 08, 2017 11:32 am

Last night I photographed the game between Wigan-v-Norwich

Omar Bogle was one of the stars scoring twice for Wigan following his £750,000 transfer from Grimsby.

I wish we had taken the gamble and signed him. I think he will tear the Championship apart.

Images here if anyone interested:

Cheers Annis.

My images are now being distributed by Getty Images which, for me, would have been unexpected some years back.

The only downside is that I am now covering a lot of the NW Premiership games (Man City, Burnley, Everton, Liverpool, Utd) and dont really get much time back in Cardiff.

I always enjoyed being one of the clubs photographers but if I want a career in photography I had to break away.

We can't compete with clubs that can spend £750k on a single player I'm afraid :bluebird:

Where on earth is the £5m Warnock wants in the summer going to come from I wonder? :o

He won't get it from player sales as our whole squad isn't worth £5m at the moment!

Warnock might as well walk away now, although as a man of his word I'm sure he'll stay until the end of the season.

Great images, Paul

Omar Bogle has been mentioned previously on here and well worth a punt, if we could get him in to the club at the right price

I was speaking to the Wigan Photographer about this last night.

WIgan signed Yanic Wildschut for £680,000 last January.

A few weeks ago they sold him for £7m to Norwich!!!

So they could afford £750,000 quite nicely.

But it does pose the question as to where our Scouts are??
