Neil Warnock has revealed the Bluebirds' plans for the summer were already well advanced and that a rapid response would be key when the window opens.

"We are already working to a figure that is acceptable to me and I think is acceptable to the board and owners," Warnock told BBC Wales Sport.

"We've got two or three players we'd like to bring in, which we will try to do.

"We need to do business straight away I think, not wait until the season starts.

"We've got a good idea who we want.

"Things change when someone comes in and buys one of the players you want, but in general we've got a good idea who we need."

It's not Slade saying it though, it's a manager who has achieved joint most promotions from this league I think? He wants one more to be no1 aswell....who are we to stop him?? If Tan ever wants to re coup on his investment there are only a handful I think that could and would do it, we have one if the finest right here.

Warnock said he was excited about the January Transfers, sadly never happened, let's hope this coming Summer it's All put in place for him and he is backed as we will really will have a season to look forward next season

It's not confirmed he has been backed, if you read carefully he hopes to be backed? And is once again trying to get the backing

As far as I am concerned this is Warnock making his case. It all comes down to will Tan back him. I have seen no statement claiming Tan will. Not even one from Warnock.

Guess we are going to have to wait and see.

Ian, Warnock is once again getting it out there that he wants action and he wants the backing confirmed now and he is pushing for it big time and we need Choo or Tan to confirm they are fully backing Warnock as so far they have not.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has outlined his cut-price transfer plan, saying he does not think it would take big money to launch a promotion bid in 2017-18.

Warnock has outlined his proposals to owner Vincent Tan and hopes the Malaysian businessman backs them.
