What a difference a manager makes
Have you wondered where Cardiff City would be this season if Neil Warnock hadn’t taken charge? The table didn’t make for pretty reading when he took over in October. More to the point, where would they be if he’d started the season at the helm?
Today's Updated Championship Table

When Neil Warnock took over were bottom two and doomed, we are now 11pts clear of the bottom three and 10pts of the play-offs now
NEIL WARNOCK HAD DONE THIS WITH NO MONEY,IMAGINE IF HE HAD A BIT OF MONEY

If Trollope was still here in the bottom 3...Warnock from start of season probably about 9th or 10th

On a different subject...looking at the up to date table...Newcastle must be starting to get a bit twitchy..the pack are closing up slowly!!!!

Jon,
I reckon if we had had a new pace winger and a new striker,we could of made 5th or 6th place.
You never know though, but realistically mid table will be great

When you look at the money wasted on Lambert/Immers etc in the summer you can only wonder what might have been.

If we end the season in the position we are in now I will be absolutely delighted!
Utter despair under Trollope and it was only ever going to end one way.
Great work by Warnock - can't think of anybody we could have appointed who would have done a better job so far.

Not worth thinking about if Trollope was still here or instead Ta went for Warnock instead of him at the start of the season.
Under Trollope I reckon we would be well in the relegation spots. I didn't see anything in his team selections that will make me feel different.
Under Warnock we have gone from a -10 goal difference in the first 11 games to +1 in the next 17 games. Unfortunately for Warnock the players have thrown away a number of points we deserved to win. If we have had that striker we would have beaten Wigan instead of losing 1-0. In a couple of last minutes we dropped a point agaianst Barsnley and 2 from Brentford. The only luck we have had was the last minute winner against Burton. So overall I believe we should have 5 extra points to our total.
Hindsight wonderful but if we had bee a bit clever we could be in with a chance of the playoffs. Some are saying we are but I still think it is a bridge too far. So summing up we have gone from relegation highly possibles to mid table safety but been a bit unlucky we are not up there aiming for a playoff.

More importantly imagine where we could be next May if he's backed in the summer and the players are given a pre season with him and he's given the full season in charge.
And I don't mean with silly money.
Just enough to get in 3-4 decent players and even these may be loans or players who he can make more of.
Also one or 2 cheap gambles

Rather wait a couple of seasons and be prepped for the Premier with Warnock.
