It's not what they have spent it's what they spent it on.
City were like minus 15 points on everyone else after our summer acquisitions. I mean whoever signed Gounongbe needed their head examining. And Lambert
And Amos
Give Warnock a summer at the market and he'll give us a half decent squad and a much better chance when all clubs are on 0 points.

They've used the loan market very well too, as shown by their signing of Aaron Mooy, who I tipped at the start of the season to do well in the Championship

Money to spend on players isn't the be all or end all when it comes to success. What you need is an astute manager who can get the best possible display out of his players on the pitch. Luckily I think we've finally got that with Neil Warnock
