Starting to drag themselves away from the relegation zone under Clement  :bluebird:

Re: Are the Jacks

Few on here wrote bloody essays about how they're already firing down the leagues. Embarrassing really.

Long way to go there not out of it yet

Man City on the weekend followed by a big game against Leicester then Chelsea

Re: Are the Jacks

Been saying all along that people need to calm down. Too giddy for their own good.

Re: Are the Jacks

Tue Jan 31, 2017 11:16 pm

they are not out of yet , it's really tight down the bottom, I think it will go to last couple of games , if they drew tonight they would have been in bottom 3 on GD so noway are they safe yet

I'd argue that 1 loss and they'd be in the relegation spots and the worst goal difference is hardly dragging themselves away from it.

Well they've gained five points on their previous position. And don't forgotten teams around/below them are going to loose practically every game too.

I still say they aren't dragging themselves away....come Saturday evening after playing man city away they may find themselves back in the relegation spots. Their goal difference could count as a point against them as well come end of season.

It's incredibly tight, I'd say what we've just done in championship is dragging yourself away not them currently.

Re: Are the Jacks

They have gone from level points with the bottom 2... to 5 points clear of them and now equal points with the current PL Champions. They are 2 wins from mid table.

Re: Are the Jacks

Wed Feb 01, 2017 10:43 am

I still betting Big Sam will get Palace out of the mir so for me its any 3 from the other 5

And 1 loss from relegation spot. Paint it up anyway you like roathie.

Re: Are the Jacks

I think Sunderland and Hull are as good as down. I believe Palace will do enough to stay up, so that leaves one from Leicester, Middlesborough and the jacks. Fingers crossed it's the latter.

1 loss and a palace win yes. But judging that Swansea have won 3 out of their last 4 and Palace 1 out of their last 4, long term I don't think you can bank on that much of a reversal. But you may also paint it which ever way you like Jemima, you are the one with most to lose as you were one of the front running knicker wetters :D

Everyone thought they would get beaten at Liverpool.

Who knows, they could get something off both Man City & Chelsea. Once you get into a non losing mentality the players start believing and playing more positively.

No game is predictable - Watford winning at Arsenal

Bournemouth aren't out of it either.

Re: Are the Jacks

Wed Feb 01, 2017 3:18 pm

I think the jacks will have just about enough to stay up this season. Hull and Sunderland will go, and I wouldn't bet against Leicester going from champions to relegation fodder. It would be a disaster for the jacks financially to fall, the PL is where it's at when it comes to mega rich clubs throughout the footballing world. It's amazing to think the jacks are now in the top 40 richest football clubs on the planet, and now richer than both AC Milan and Inter Milan  :bluebird:

Re: Are the Jacks

4 points less than this time last season , then went onto finish comfortably mid table . So who knows

But the season doesn't end this weekend Marie does it? If it did then your desperate ramblings may have a semblance of sense.

Swansea will already have played FOUR of the top 5 teams after the next 3 games have dome and gone. Of the bottom 6, their final 12 game run-in will be far more comfortable than those around them. Middlesorough can't seem to score for toffee and Leicester are in free fall, that is without mentioning the woeful Palace.

Calm down Martha.....Liverpool have shown there is no such thing as a comfortable run in the premiership.

No I've given my prediction for this weekend's game I'm not daft enough to try and predict the rest of the season. Calm down dear you'll give yourself a migraine.

But the season doesn't end after the next game, what a pointless prediction. You need to calm down with this desperation to see the Swans relegated, you will do yourself a mischief Claire. I would suggest on concentrating on supporting Cardiff to ensure they join Swansea, all this obsession with wishing ill on others cannot be healthy.

To be opponants or opposition, surely you have to be in a position to play eachother? Game by game predictions are as pointless as block predicting, you can either see into the future or you can't - anything else is equal.

I am neutral in all this my sweet, big Welsh football fan, I just find your laughable comments on Swansea amusing and enjoy highlighting them when they look idiotic. Consider yourself highlighted Pippa :D

I haven't visited this forum for a while. Just popped in to find this thread.

Why are we still obsessed with our "rivals"????

Warnock is a good manager. Heard him on Talk Sport (yesterday I think??). He spoke well and has the club at heart.

We ain't Premier League YET so let's concentrate on us before speculating about others. Just saying.
