Could Craig Noone be on his way out of Cardiff City?

I am told City would let him go.

His high wages and City wanting a fee could be an obstacle?

Cardiff City once wanted £2mill, I believe we would accept even £250,000-£300,000 now as his wages would be a massive saving for the Cardiff City Commitee.

When Craig Noone first made the switch from Brighton to South Wales, the supporters really thought they had a quality player on their hands.

The winger easily guided past full-backs and was a constant danger during Cardiff’s single season in the Premier League.

Ever since Cardiff were relegated, Noone seems to have lost his spark and doesn’t look the same player and goes hot and cold.

New manager Neil Warnock has shown a lot of faith in him since arriving at the club in October, but his time could be running out at the Cardiff City Stadium and he may feel like he needs to move on to reignite his career.

Are we to assume that the club are just reducing wages in advance of next year.....

Or are we trying to reduce to get someone in NOW?

He could be off to Millwall ;)

I saw loads of their fans wearing "Noone Likes Us" bobble hats during the televised FA Cup game on the weekend! :laughing6:

On a serious note, sadly I don't think there would be an uproar the way he's played in recent times :(

I've never thought he actually brings much to the team... he always has the same trick of cutting inside from the right and usually gets past the player but then there is no end product, just a cross to no one

Wayne, Its a fact Tan wants the wages reduced even more and thats why the DVP has been revamped saving fortunes for now,but long run? ? who knows ?

Wayne, who ever is the manager of Cardiff City will have the smallest City squad for 7 years next season, thats def.

I believe in what I am told,if Warnock can offload about 8-10 players over the next months/summer he will be able to bring in his 4-5 players he says he wants.

The problem is how do you find clubs for all of them?

Le Fondre is still on high wages here, but he wants a big pay off to go to Bolton permanently.

what is very obvious this window { well i think it is } is that we overpay big time. our manager desperate for funds to be released has been unable to shift any fringe players like noone, huws,o keefe etc even on loan.all we have managed to move are a couple of 3rd or 4th choice and dvp players.

Has there been any interest in Noone?

Or anybody else in our first team squad this window?

Le Fondre will be gone. I cannot see him being due a large payment to leave now if his contract is up in 5 months.

He will obviously see out his big wages contract.

Very little productive output for a long time now. One trick pony cutting inside. Great guy and gives 100% but the sooner he free up some funds for a decent winger the better.

Cheers Seven.

That'll teach me to scan read. Saw Ben Wilson's name and stopped there.

Do have a good excuse. I was in a meeting and didn't want to get caught.

No worries, that wasn't anything other than me responding in a happy way because I'm pleased he's gone! :ayatollah:
