I might be in the minority but I don't really mind if we don't bring anyone else in, and don't think we really need it.

I think we've got a good enough team to stay up, and would be shocked if we now went down. That was the one and only job for Warnock to do this season. We were always going to be extremely unlikely to make the top six.

Would much rather us do our business in the summer, instead of paying over-inflated prices this month. Because all we'd be doing is building for next season.

Makes more sense to wait until the summer. We don't know whether the club will put the money up then, so we can only wait and see what happens.

if we sign players now it will take us 1 step nearer to a team NW thinks can compete.
id rather sign 2 now and 2 in summer than 4 in summer, if then 1 doesnt work out at least our manager will know where he stands.

Initially, I thought not but (as someone pointed out on another thread) if Neil Warnock can get in a couple of players he needs for next season and beyond at the right prices then yes, he should do it. It'll boost the squad for this season, boost the fans and (by default) give an early indication of whether he will be backed properly next season or not

100% with you and so is the man that counts the most, Neil Warnock wants to as well,we are not out the relagation battle yet.

Warnock is only asking for 2 players now and 4 in the summer

I'm with the team is built over a few transfer windows not just one brigade.

I also think we need freshening up.

We are certainly not free of relegation yet and with some of the games coming up we could be right back in it in the next month or so.

All the teams around us seem to be strengthening whilst we stagnate.

If we don't sign anyone then where on earth are the goals going to come from? We only need a few injuries and we'll be playing Bamba up front.

Good question and I don't know the answer. If in a few weeks time if we are in or close to the bottom three the answer is yes. My opinion is that there are three weaker teams than us irrespective of whether or not we sign anyone today. I've been wrong plenty of times before though.
Whatever happens, there is no doubt that we have a poor and unbalanced squad right now. I think it will take more than a couple of signings to change us from avoiding relegation to realistic promotion contenders. This squad needs rebuilding completely, and that will take more than one transfer window, especially with so little money to play with.

I agree. It would be nice to get in a proven goal scorer and a consistent pacey creative wide player. Of course, Craig Noone and Ricky Lambert could be those players, or even Kennedy, Harris and Rhys Healey.

But we have enough in the squad to stay up with Warnock's guidance, and don't 'need' anyone. It's difficult to attract players for a promotion push NEXT season when other teams have more to offer immediately.

Funny enough was discussing this today

I'd be happy to buy no one providing Warnock stays and is allowed to buy in the summer

A counter argument is however that the sooner quality players arrive the more time we have to blend them into the squad and build some momentum and partnerships.

However... I think its all about finances for us I guess.

I remember him saying exactly the same thing. I guess today will give us an indication as to whether or not Warnock is working with one arm tied behind his back. One way or another we will know later on today

I do like him and he's defo what we needed I just think his style of footbal is outdated. I think you need a bit more about you than smashing it up to a big man and fighting for 2nd balls to get out of this division.

like might have been th wrong word, its his teams football not so much the man himself. the way we are playing at mo is what we needed to do and still need to, not sure if he can evolve this team into a team that plays something a bit less basic next season.
what i am sure about is the majority want him next season.and since his arrival there has been a lot more of a togetherness feel to going. i honestly dont know whats best re keeping him.

Warnock himself says happy with squad but would like a couple in but not end of world if didn't happen! Most on here believe we are safe so makes more sense to see who else goes in summer to free up more wages and see who's actually available ? As for club backing him well Time will tell if not then obviously he walks !
