Prob a rumour. But even if we were well prob come in with a bid far too low and get laughed at! It's a shame we haven't been able to shift on many fringe players this window. Just give away one of our better players in immers.

I thought Warnock said he wouldn't sign players not better than the ones we have just for the sake of it?

Cardiff City have reportedly had an offer for Blackburn Rovers winger Liam Feeney turned down.

By Dominic Booth

30/01/17

The 30-year-old has featured 24 times for Owen Coyle's struggling Championship outfit this season, scoring twice.

Feeney has previously enjoyed stints with Ipswich, Bolton, Bournemouth and Millwall. Cardiff's reported interest comes after they failed in efforts to sign Aberdeen's Jonny Hayes.

Journalist Nick Mashiter reports the bid has been rejected and it remains to be seen whether the Bluebirds pursue their efforts to sign Feeney.

The Englishman's only goals this season have come in cup competitions, scoring against Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup 3rd round and in the Checkatrade Trophy. He was not in the matchday squad of 18 for Rovers' 2-0 4th round victory over Blackpool on Saturday.

Neil Warnock is keen to add pace and creativity to Cardiff's attack, with a new striker unlikely to arrive in the next 48 hours.

The transfer window slams shut on Tuesday night (January 31) at 11pm.

Blackburn 'reject Cardiff approach for Liam Feeney'

Blackburn club call

30/01/17

Blackburn have rejected a bid from Cardiff for Liam Feeney.

The Bluebirds want to take the winger to Wales ahead of Tuesday transfer deadline, Press Association Sport understands.
But their approach has been knocked back by Rovers, who need to keep Feeney to aid their fight against relegation from the Sky Bet Championship.

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has been targeting a winger this month and Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has confirmed they have turned down two bids from the Bluebirds for Jonny Hayes.
Warnock released former England winger Kieran Richardson earlier in January and he has only signed midfielder Greg Halford from Rotherham and goalkeeper Allan McGregor from Hull this month.

Feeney signed a two-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months, last summer after joining from relegated Bolton on a free transfer.
He has scored once in 23 games for Rovers, with Blackburn sitting second bottom of the Championship and two points from the safety line.
Feeney, 30, started his career at Salisbury and has also played for Millwall and Bournemouth. He finished last season on loan at Ipswich having spent two years at Bolton.
Cardiff are 16th in the table and host Preston on Tuesday with Rovers welcoming Leeds.

We have to take any talk of promotion next season as just bravado talk by a persuasive manager.

The guys nearly 70 he hasn't got to bite his tongue nowadays and can suggest we are gonna walk the league if he wants. It doesn't matter to him.

He'll be gone the year after anyway. He fails and retires or succeeds and is replaced.
