As long as there's an internet connection to the box and your satellite cables are connected you'll get all channels. Including sky sports box office if you're into your boxing. You can also install a hard drive tonit for recording purposes. The boxes will come with instructions to aide you setting one up.

Just a few photos of how the skin will look on the setup. So it's basically exactly the same as Sky to use.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

And are they HD quality ???
Is the gift a yearly fee ???
Are they much better than android box with Kodi ??? They seem ok for fun films but the sports are rubbish

They won't work with a Sky Q lnb although you can fit a hybrid lnb. And is HD quality.

In my eyes these are better than android with kodi as this uses satelitte signal so its not streaming. Kodi is good for films and TV series as you've said but a zGemma is the perfect replacement for someone who is sick of paying obscene amount for Sky/Virgin/BT especially Sports + Movies. The gift will need to be renewed every year as it does expire which is £25 per year.

I think you will find they are not HD but SD as sky a long time ago have really encrypted the HD signal, and these boxes cannot unscramble the hd broadcast

It's only premium sky channels that you don't get HD quality on. But they are HD quality.

£120 all set up. All that's needed is a satellite feed and a internet connection into it. As they work of the satellite cables there is no lag or buffering, the internet connection is just for the encryption.

Thanks for all the info! Just a couple of quick questions. Can you explain how you can pause/record programmes? And will the ,magic eye work on other TVs?

Cheers

Pause and record works once a hard drive is installed, just use the remote as you would with sky.

Magic eye doesn't work as far as I know you have to set it up through an RF modulator, which gets confusing. You can do it through an android box though

Can you set them up on Virgin also

If you currently have virgin, which means you won't have the satellite cables then you will need the H2H box. This will work off cable/virgin. These are £130.

All boxes come with instructions of how to set them up. Basically all you have to do is plug it in, initisalise it. Reboot the the box and that should be it.

The box will already be set up on delivery, so all you'll have to do is plug it all in (instructions are provided) and you're good to go.

Well all the football/sport/ movies are premium channels, so no HD, so who would want to watch bbc/itv etc in hd when you can get them on freeview. That is the point I originally made
