Cardiff City have made an improved offer for Aberdeen forward Jonny Hayes.
The Scottish Premiership side rejected an initial offer of £500,000 and the offer of a play plus cash.
Hayes, a Republic of Ireland international, is keen to make the move after five seasons at Aberdeen. He has scored six goals this season.
