Neil Warnock says Rickie Lambert missed today's match against Reading through injury. He suffered a back spasm in training yesterday.
For me,injury prone and what a waste hundreds of thousands of £'s.

Could be worse could be a waste of millions upon millions like we squandered on Cornelius

It certainly could be, a pity we never learn from past mistakes.

I heard his back spasm was from trying to pick up his wallet.

Let's not offload him before we have a suitable replacement. If the deal isn't done tomorrow then forget it.
And why would Wolves sign him? They aren't going up or down either and surely don't need him

I'll eat my hat if anyone takes Lambert off our hands with us paying less than 75% of his wages. So he'll be here for the time being and sooner or later he'll get to 19 appearances following which we wouldn't be able to pay him without triggering an additional year on his contract.
Whether that's a second year on top of one or a third year on top of two is unclear. Either way if we're then at the point of being unable to field a team of 11, Rickie Lambert is not getting on the pitch. Bit of shame as the extra energy Healy gives us up front may have worked well with Lambert.
Zahore is the original one trick pony, all strength with very limited ability on the ball. I think its time he had a rest.

I hope he gets a few chances and scores some goals. Then he will be worth keeping.
