An experienced shot-stopper with Championship promotions behind him and itching to show he should still be a Premier League keeper, a no-brainer as the Bluebirds boss put it.

Three games into his arrival, and the Scot hasn't exactly justified the joy brought about by his signing. At Brighton, it looked as though he had been beaten by a stunner – only for replays to suggest that it had been stoppable.

Here away at Reading today, the poor parry from Danny Williams' initial effort allowed Swift the chance for his opener. Better was expected – and no doubt Warnock feels the same.

He has not played for ages through being injured so not on top form.
If he never made mistakes we wouldnt have been able to sign him.
Why be so negative when players make mistakes .I guess they sell more papers if its negative.
We are progressing slowly with Mr Warnock and his team, next season will be the time to judge after a clear out in summer.
As for now onwards and upwards lets see how far we get the rest of season.

Being an ex goalie he does look slightly out of sync when it comes to positioning like today's free kick!

He was out of position because he was busy trying to organise that shambles of a wall. He literally didn't know he was taking it u till the ball had left the ground. Morrison should have sorted that wall out strait away and mcgregor needs to wake up.

The first one today your right we should have got to the ball first and cleared but he just wasn't switched on with the free kick.

It was his responsibility to make sure all angles were covered ! Player didn't even have to bend kick he just hit it straight with only reading players in way so simple!

Let's face it he put wall left stood right and let ball whip past him. However did he touch ball other than that 2nd half...deserved at least a point

Bamba or someone else in the replay near the striker shouldn't have never ever allowed him to receive the ball in the area he did with the space he had..

1st goal was a long distant shot he pushed wide defender allowed player to back heel ball from byline into middle, 2nd one bamba made totally unessesary faul on edge box! And wall was total mess for goal

So we hanging out our goal keeper after a few games. He has not played competitive football for nearly 7 months and has just come back after a serious back injury.

Surely we give him a chance of a run of games like we do with other players or the question has to be asked why did we sign him in the first place knowing his history.

I can't comment on the goals today because I have not seen them but once I have will post my thoughts

Its mental mate, clean sheet in his first game, then conceded 1 goal against top of the table and today in only his 3rd game some weapon from Wales Online (I'm assuming that's where this Chris Watham guy works?) is trying to dig him out

Couldn't agree more although I would have kept Murphy in until it needed changing. He's rusty, simple as that.
