Well just using him for total of 6 mins in last two games is bonkers especially as we were losing in both games !!

He will be gone by Monday I bet

Re: Whitts needs to start

Oh but no he is getting on now and has lost pace and all that and we have a dreadful record when he starts! :old:

With his end product we could have been getting a point or three v Brighton or Reading, he is that good on his day.

Playing Whitts is a waste under Warnocks anti football.

Warnock just wants people who can run and get stuck in and doesn't really care if they can play football or not.

Can be effective and will be more than enough to keep us up but it's ugly viewing

An insult to the man putting him on in the 89th minute 2 games on the trot

Because we have been blessed with attacking beautiful football over the last 5 years! Have seen more excitement this season than I have the last 3 or 4 years, even when we get beat 4-3 at home. Granted he's made some games ugly but a simple reason for that - he has identified we aren't going to outplay Moast teams as we lack the players. He's also identified a relegation battle and how is best to get out of it.

I actually love the physical edge he's instilled in the team, we need more quality but seven promotions suggest he might actually know what he's doing.

Neil Warnock teams have always been ugly and most of those promotions were from 20 years ago a different generation. Football has evolved since then.

He hasn't been remotely involved in a promotion chasing season for 6 years enough of the Neil Warnock is the Alex Fergudon of the Championship already.

We're no better off under Warnock than we were that dinosaur Slade.

Thank him for his efforts in keeping us up in the summer and give the reigns to Bellamy.

Totally agree.

First thing he did today when he came on was put in a better dead ball delivery than Joe Ralls did in the entire two games.

I do agree with that. I'd rather see Warnock backed first and perhaps him take over the year after. We've taken so many risks the last few years I think warnock is our best bet now to push forward. But I do agree the football is mostly hoof ball. But surely that will improve with a few players.

We need whitts back in the team, he's our ONLY player who can take a set peice

agree and that is one of the areas we were always pretty strong at was set pieces, he is by far our best player for set pieces and probably the only player we have who is creative

its amazing really, Whitts trys a 40 yard heavy top spin pass to a player in acres of space but hits it a meter too high and we all groan, but we string two passes together when he is not there and clap like demented seals.

As well as insult it's also waste of time! Whitts may not be the most mobile player but he offers something we lack and that is quality! when you consider a lot of goals are from set pieces and he's one of the best in championship at them if going to be a sub at least make sure he's on long enough to be effective! ! :o

Some valid points polo, and I would welcome Craig Bellamy in a few years. But Comparing Warnock to slade :laughing5: the players never gave that commitment under slade.

I agree his teams have been ugly, committed, nasty, call it what you like and it is exactly what was needed at our club. A no nonsense approach.

Witts is pure class, not suited to every game especially away but his quality is missed when he's not in the team

Whitts is the only footballer in are team that can actually pass the f*cking ball so the people who slag him off really don't have a clue

Whitts must start.

O'keefe is far better than Halford.

The facts speak for themselves, how many have we scored since Whitts wasn't playing?

We need people who run but we also need players who can play.

Warnock has done little wrong but hopefully he's learnt a few things in the last few games.

Whitts is our only creative midfielder, he may have lost his pace but he's the best we've got and can cause teams damage. It's a no brainier to start with him personally he would be first on my team sheet along with bamba and gunnar

Also not sure why Murphy was dropped either, hasn't made a mistake and think it was unfair to drop him and listening to commentary on the games it seems McGregor has been a bit soft
