This signing was a joke. NW is quite friendly with Halford and he brought him down here just to keep him from the dole office.

I thought Halford was brought in as a multi-position utility player yet he's started a couple of games now and not performed to any acceptable level, despite being 'match fit' from his rotherham days

i am going against the grain a bit here, but i thought he did ok.

playing 3 centre halfs is fine except we haven't got a passer in a midfield of peltier,ralls, gunnar & richards so how was the ball meant to get to zohore,holiett and healey except route 1 ?

Wrong scapegoat, not sure what Warnocks playing at, but i can't wait for this window to be over as he is trying to prove a point with some of his selections or its kick ad rush from now on.

The Warnock mantra seems to be that he's not interested in anyone who's not better than what he already has.

From what we've seen of Halford so far it's difficult to see how he fits that bill.

I didn't think he done too much wrong. But at that same time he didn't do much at all.

He should be used as back up, starting him when we have okeefe not even in the squad is a joke.

He's (Halford) not that good

I was speaking to to some reading fans in costco after the game and they said he was their record signing at the time. They also said Morrison was immense for them, my face gave it away we don;t quite think the same.

We could use him as a corner flag. He has got the movement of one

I watched Halford closely yesterday and I can't understand how you're all slating him. He was solid and didn't make any defensive mistakes. His positioning is good, he seems the type of player who will leave his foot in and take no prisoners, I think he will bring a bit of no nonsense defensive steel to us. I don't see many strikers getting the better of him, although his distribution is questionable, but hopefully that'll improve when he settles.

Halford is not the problem its the lack of technical players who can play football to get the ball to the runners and striker.

We played with 5 stopper and 5 runners on saturday, you need that bit of class
