Wow slag the guy off that made us who we are today..his attractive football was some of the best iv ever seen and something we will never see again..

Agreed some of the best football I have seen at city - the squad he assembled with the likes of Hudson McPhail Ledley Chopra Bothroyd Burke Whittingham McCormack played some quality football at times.

Unfortunately his flaw was he could never get us over the line. With the players he had and if we had gone up I believe we would have established ourselves as a Premiership side.

He has been out the game along time so not sure how bigger impact thT will have. It will be interesting to see.

Everyone's losing run has to come to end and how many times have we gone to a side in a complete slump and come unstuck

Not long for a manger to be out of the game though is it

Depends on what the manager did for three years he was out of it. For me football is ever evolving with tactics, formations, training methods, diets and so on.

If you are out of it for any lengthy period and don't keep yourself involved in some shape or form you could find yourself well off the pace. There was a time when his sort or manager was just recycled by club after club but that seemed to have stopped.

One of the main reasons he always liked this part of the world was down to the netball lezzer he was nailing down the bay. No wonder he always had his hands in his trouser pockets - his old lad must have been on fire.
