Dave Jones has completed his first signing as Hartlepool manager with the arrival of Joe Fryer on a half-season loan deal from Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old has been a regular in Boro’s U23 side this term and has been drafted in to provide further competition for Adam Bartlett following the shoulder operation which has ended Trevor Carson’s campaign.
