Ceri, They were until there was a massive surge of sales.

At the moment if we only sell a few more hundred, then they will not as the one section only holds 2,400, so they might open the other section for home fans, which is pay on the day anyway  :bluebird: :bluebird:

None by the ground, either town centre or stop in one of the villages before Reading, turn off on the motorway a stop before Reading :thumbright:

Holiday Inn. 10 minute walk to the ground and you can park there for £ 8 or so. I've been going there since they moved to the new ground.

I go to most games these days without a ticket and I get in. Its a risk though and although I'm prepared to take it, I'm reluctant to take others. My son is adamant he's going with me and so is his mate. Brother in law and nephew would also come if it was pay on the day. Actually if I remember rightly I had to go in the home end in our first game at the Madjeski. There have been a few close shaves over the years but the only game I couldn't get into was the Gloucester City cup tie although I was very lucky at the infamous Brentford game.

They're now asking for DOB and first line of address with a fan number. Of your using other people's it's just additional fuss. I honestly don't know what the point is in this fan number membership scheme is, it just gives a headache to people trying to buy tickets. It's a scam

I've been told it's pay on the gate.

Anyone wanting to do so then ring Reading ticket office direct and double check.

They obv don't relay the info to ccfc very quickly.

How much more expensive? Ticket office never mentioned that when I called.

Re: UPDATED " READING AWAY PAY ON THE DAY "

Yep no mention of extra cost when I called this afternoon - the ticket office just confirmed you can buy beforehand or on the gate. Don't get many free weekends these days but taking my son for his first away game - makes a massive difference not having to buy memberships just for one game.

£3 more. Still good value.
Really pleased people have taken advantage of a fair deal put together between our club and Reading.
Let's hope more take note.
