Is Warnock being clever?

By coming out and saying Vincent Tan needs to fund him next season if we are going to make a push for play offs?

a) This is basically giving Tan an ultimatum of fund me or I'm gone?
b) Other owners may have an eye on Warnock's position and fancy giving him a last shot at promotion?
C) Warnock has basically stated to the fans that if I go in the summer then you know the reason is Vincent Tan having no ambition so you can't blame me.
