If only he had had a proper striker, goalie and a bit of money we prob would of made the play-offs this season

It's the same old story starting to come out of the club down to one player coming in?? I would lay money on it that we don't get anyone in.
If that's the case the summer window will go same way and NW will be gone. Bit of a gamble by VT if it does.
Hope I am wrong but same phrases being turned out yet again.

If we had in Warnock from the start of the season, had kept Marshall, and spent the Ricky Lambert money more wisely, I am convinced we would be in the top 6! Warnock needs to be backed for next season!

Agree with your comments however I would like to add that having Warnock for the start of the season would have made a huge difference as well.
I really liked Tollope but the fact he was away with Wales in the summer therefore didnt have time/focus on Cardiff plus his inexperience in Championship meant that it wasn't a huge surprise the way we started.
Fingers crossed we pick something up on Saturday as I dont see any reason why not after last night

We were unlucky to lose to Brighton, one moment of lapse by Bamba cost us but that Hemed is formidable up top for Brighton, I doubt De Gea would have saved that shot.

It is lamentable that a £25k a week proven striker sits on the bench when he would have been what was needed v Burton & last night to beef up a powderpuff attack.
If Lambert is going or not going to play then City desperately need a goalscorer to get the necessary points to guarantee survival this season. We won't get enough points relying on the odd goal from a midfielder or defender if our current first choice no 9 is so impotent.
So it seems imperative that a new striker comes in.

Karl, If Warnock is not backed next season then No one can blame him if he walks away this summer.
They've brought Warnock in, finally the right and proven manager and they are not backing him in my eyes.
Warnocks keeps coming out loud and clear and is telling everyone whats really going on and is virtually saying back me or I am off.

if tan doesnt back him in the summer all the good work from warnock to unite the fans and get them off tans back and actually support the team again will have been for nothing and i dare to say for many would be the final straw and a lot of people wouldnt return again, its last chance saloon for tan and his cronies get it right now or else watch your investment get flushed down the bog

Hi Annis,
Just my feeling same old dribble being delivered by the club.
It's pretty obvious if NW had 9m on one player he would get 6 for that. Unfortunately the club can now hide behind FFP rules lol.
Like I said I have that feeling once again no one else coming in (hope I am wrong) poor old NW must be wondering what he got himself into and a few clubs might tap him up.
As another thread posted if we don't sign a striker then bring Saadi back and give him a chance

We'd be there abouts, especially if we started with Warnock. The goalkeeper situation has cost us arguably 6-9 points this season from mistakes and beyond poor shot stopping. And we all know how many chances we've wasted to score through lack of a finisher.

Warnock virtually has to play players like Zohore as he has no one else, as Lambert always looks unfit and Warnock must not rate him ahead of Zohore.
For three years we've known we needed a good striker,"The Committee were set up to sort this out" ?
