Aberdeen make surprise loan bid for Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie
Derek McInnes hopes to land the midfielder till end of season to boost his bid to finish second in the Premiership

ABERDEEN have launched a surprise loan bid for Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie.
Derek McInnes will look to the Hoops starlet to boost his hopes of finishing second in the Premiership, the Daily Express reports.

McInnes hopes Brendan Rodgers will do him a huge favour by lending the Scotland Under-21 star.
With game time hard to come by at Parkhead, Celtic boss Rodgers could see the move as a good way of getting the talented playmaker more experience.
Dons boss Derek McInnes took Norwich midfielder James Maddison on loan for the first half of the season but he has yet to be confirmed for the rest of the season.
The move comes after Graeme Shinnie penned a new deal at the Dons keeping him at the club until 2019.
The Dons are also believed to be leading the race to sign former St Johnstone hero Stevie May.
The preston stirker is in big demand but won’t be allowed to leave until Preston sign his replacement.
The Pittodrie side have rejected two bids from Cardiff City star winger Jonny Hayes but are braced for another.
The £500,000 sum was booted out with defender Shay Logan describing the bid as a joke.
