Reading Tickets

Tue Jan 24, 2017 10:44 am

Apologies if I've missed this info in another thread -

Firstly what are the prices for adults and children? My friend wants to bring his son who's about 13 to his first away game?

Also, has anyone got a fan no. For a child's ticket, or can he use an adult fan no.?

Cheers

Jack, these are the Reading Away ticket prices:

Adult - £20
65 and over - £13
17 and under - £5

18 - 24yrs - £10

According to the 'official' web-site, tickets can be purchased by season ticket holders and members only, so I'm guessing you would have to obtain a child's fan no. to purchase

Decent prices Chris and thanks for the info. I'm presuming it's not pay on the gate then?

Has anyone got a spare child's fan number please?

You're right, Jack. Reading is one of the better/easier grounds we'll visit this year and probable as family friendly as any I've been too. Not sure about pay on the day but I'm sure someone will enlighten :ayatollah:

Alex, I just asked Vince, sold just over a 1,000, but he's expecting a mass of bookings on Thursday/Friday :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

If we get an early confirmation of paying on the gate then I think that would help greatly. Unfortunately its often a very late call and sometimes sounds more like speculation than actually confirmed. Reading may be a short trip but most wouldn't go on the basis of a probability of getting in.

I once got turned away at Bolton with 3 young and upset kids. Fortunately Vince came to the rescue but there was no way they were going to let me in to a 3/4 empty stadium. Just for the record we were staining relations in Chorley, I hadn't taken them all the way up from Essex.

Shocking isn't it. I never understand why they wait until so late. If they're worried about queues then they could just say get there before 1400 or whatever.

Would be great if they have pay on the gate ?
As 2 of my mates want to come, but I don't live in Cardiff anymore, so even If i borrow a fan no.
I wouldn't be able to pick up the tickets
