' Chris Hughton on Cardiff City '

Mon Jan 23, 2017 4:50 pm

Brighton manager Chris Hughton has given his thoughts on his side’s clash with the Bluebirds tomorrow, and he spoke very highly of Neil Warnock.

Here’s what he had to say.

Neil Warnock’s done the job that he always does and that’s why he is where he is.
“He’s still managing at a ripe, old age because of the enthusiasm that he’s got.
“He probably knows the league better than anybody and he’s done well in it for as long as anybody could remember.
“We’re expecting a very tough game and they’re on the back of two very good wins, so they’ll be in good form as well.”

Hughton was a big 'favourite' for the Cardiff City job before Malky got it, but turned up for his interview/presentation with a PowerPoint set up with the 'logo' for another club he had applied to and it went down like a lead balloon!

Can't remember the club (possibly West Ham Olympic) but someone on here will surely enlighten us! :laughing6:
