' CARDIFF ACCUSED OF VIRTUALLY TAKING THE MICK '

Having a laugh?

Are Cardiff having a laugh with their bids for Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes?

His team mate Shay Logan certainly seems to think so.

Here’s what he told the Scottish Sun.

Monday 23rd January 2017

“I’d take Jonny Hayes over McKay or Forrest any day, though they are both very good players. But for me, on his day there is no left or right winger who is more direct or as fast as Jonny.
“Aside from the likes of Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair, I think Jonny’s the best player in the league.
“He’s definitely the best left winger or midfielder in the league. No one can stop him on his day.
“It’s only right that big teams are looking at the big players.

Shay Logan“I’m sure it will all be carefully thought about and we will just see what happens.”

Derek Mcinnes manager - Cardiff came in with a second offer which was just structured differently from the first and was rejected.

“We have had another offer from Cardiff for Jonny but bizarrely it’s the same offer but just structured a bit differently.

“It was rejected.

Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes brands Cardiff City attempts to land Jonny Hayes 'bizarre' -

STV Sport.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has told Cardiff City their offers for Jonny Hayes remain well short of the mark, branding the latest bid 'bizarre'.

The Dons boss revealed the Bluebirds' second offer for Ireland international Hayes was identical to their first — just structured differently.

I don't think that this is done yet unless Warnock thinks Kennedy is the answer.Hays must have told Aberdeen he wants to go ffs,he stands to at least treble his money.I think we'll go back in at the death with a slightly improved offer. All Hays(or the manager)has to do is say "I'm happy here" and its finished but he hasn't.

Hayes isn't Neymar Jr so why do Aberdeen go on like he is, he's a bog standard winger in a bog standard league.

We should be shutting up shop and looking elsewhere.

Aberdeen fans should be incensed by the comments of their manager and Logan.

They are basically sticking Hayes in the shop window for all to see. We stick the bids in, they knock them back, end of.

There is no need for anyone to say anymore, on our side for fear of other clubs coming in and on their side for fear of their price being met and the player gone.......... or is that what they are trying to do?

Aberdeen fans must see this.

I'm not being funny but a player at 29 playing in the Scottish league, unproven at championship level is not worth more than 500k. No matter what these sweaty socks say, they like to blow the trumpet because they forget their league is league 1 standard at best.

If your referring to my comment, I made no reference to how good he was or wasn't. I'm talking about teams taking the piss because of inflated prices.

In fairness to Aberdeen they have every right to try and get as much out of the deal as possible.

That said I agree with you that the player's worth is no more than £500k and we shouldn't be paying anymore than that.
