Why? He looked overweight against us and no real spark.

Id be inclined to go for fresh blood rather than keeping looking for past has beens

I liked Ross when he was with us despite his propensity to be overweight.

However, as much as I don't like the way Bruce dealt with this I wouldn't take Ross back - he is overweight, unfit and didn't turn up because his electronic gate wasn't working.... We seem to have a wonderful team spirit these days and there is no way that I woul

And being unfit... in January!!!! ridiculous.

He will go the way Hartson went - retired because he liked burgers too much!

Have to say (again) that Ross didn't look overweight at the CCS recently. From close up, he looked pretty lean and I put his perceived 'chubbiness' down to his short, stocky stature rather than it actually being a fact! ;)

Looked chubby to me unless it was the awful kit they were wearing

Wez, he was stood a few feet away on the touchline and used his top to wipe his face. What lied beneath looked pretty flat and 'ripped' and several people remarked on it at the time! :ayatollah:

He did the same on sky recently and he has no weight problem I can tell you all that.. Warnock would get a tune out of him no problem.. are we all forgetting this is the same player that has scored consistently for the last 4 seasons at this level and is a major threat at this level. I guarantee whatever club he goes to next he will start banging them in again and then we will all be moaning saying we didn't show any ambition by not going for him. if Warnock is looking for a promotion push next season that what better statement to make than to sign one of the best strikers at this level FACT even though I don't think we are out of it this season.. 12 points from the playoofs with a game in hand all be it at Brighton   we can all dream :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Not for me.
Bruce has come out and said he is overweight and skips training regularly besides this latest excuse that his 4' 6" gates are stuck and he can't get out to make training.

Bruce:
"You're never going to create a team spirit if players are looking around giggling at each other because McCormacks not turned up to training again"

Do we really need an overweight player who obviously doesn't give a shit and has little pride in his profession just because he done well for us some years ago.
We've seen way too much of this sort of thing over the years down here ffs.
