Where have Healey and Kennedy been hiding?

Cardiff were short of invention and drive until the forgotten man, Matthew Kennedy, was introduced in place of the crocked Pilkington on 53 minutes. And the former Everton youngster made a (very slight) difference after getting a first team chance for the first time since a sub appearance against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup defeat back in August.

It begs the question why Kennedy hasn't featured more often? But his display will be a crumb of comfort for Warnock on a frustrating day - particularly if Cardiff's efforts to lure Jonny Hayes from Aberdeen prove unsuccessful.

Healey? Well, what can you say? Poachers like Javier Hernandez and Ole Gunnar Solskajer have made a career from bagging late goals for their sides. Maybe Healey can do the same for Cardiff.

Thought Kennedy done really well when he came on!

I rate him very highly can't understand why he hasn't been given a chance.

Hopefully going forward he will be

If Kennedy has/had an attitude problem, it was the responsibility of our manager(s) to manage that part of his attitude and behaviour. Instead, they threw him to one side and we very nearly had another footballers confidence and ability ruined by our clubs management, something that was happened far too much the past three years. Fair play to the kid, he offered us a lot when he came on, given the sheer lack of quality balls he was being given.

Healey should've been given his shot when we got relegated. His appearance against Chelsea suggested that would be the case, but he hasn't appeared for us in nearly 3 years since! Hope he takes his chance.

It's amazing how badly we treat our young players these days, let's be honest.

Agree, even though he lost the ball a couple of times he was at least being positive with it and trying to burst forward, his first forward into the box nearly found Zohore for a tap in, he hasn't done anything wrong to be chucked out of the team, whenever I have seen him play he has always tried to make an impact and worked hard.

I for one hope he is in the squad for Brighton, which tbf looks likely with the way pilkington went straight down the tunnel.

Well the fact were skint means Warnock has had to dig deeper in the squad.

And who knows, it could work out better for us if these two start putting some good performances in.

Warnock said in the press conference that one or two players this week have upped their game which has changed his mind on what players he wants to bring in this window. I believe Kennedy was one of those players. That curling low cross he made not long after coming on was sublime.

In reality , both Rhys Healy and Matty Kennedy
Were to me the only positives , apart from result ,
On an otherwise turgid performance.
the crowd was lifeless and so we're the players , hoofing
High balls aimlessly forward , Morrison and Peltier guiltier than most - classic hit and hope football - just like watching Newport County and we all know where that's got them ! NW hopefully had a right go at them afterwards.
