Neil Warnock has confirmed Alan McGregor will make his CardiffCity debut v Burton. Neither Rhys Healey nor Ricky Lambert going out on loan for now.

I thought that was obvious but a few on here said McGregor would be a sub.
Good news regarding Healey in my opinion. Let's hope he can get the occasional run out from the bench.
Lambert was never going out on loan with his fitness problems and big wages.

Does this mean that our January transfer business is complete or is Warnock still looking to do a bit more wheeling and dealing? I think we have enough here to stay in this division anyway, so perhaps they will leave team strengthening until the Summer.

I agree, unless the right player becomes available at the right price I can't see anyone coming in

Warnock is 100% still looking, but with hardly any money to buy.

Warnock can keep us up with the current squad but it will be a hell of a fight.

Yes good news on goalie and Healey, but Lambert is costing us a fortune, no one will want him on his wages.

This club baffles me,why did they allow a untried manager in trollope to splash out on big wages, then when they appoint a tried and trusted manager, they say no manager is availble?,if what we hear is actually true

Never understood the excitement on here when we signed Lambert. Anyone who reads my comments will know that I said from day one that in my opinion he was not the answer to our scoring problem, I said that he would be lucky to get into double figures and would spend a large amount of time out injured. This was so predictable, and I am baffled as to why we signed a crocked end of career player when we could have done so much better and saved a fortune on wages.

I remember and I also said the same whilst most of the posters on here went into meltdown about how he would be the new messiah.
As someone else said - it's strange how they backed Trollope when it came to big, big wages for him.
I'm quite happy that we're not spending in January as I think we'll be fine until the summer when, hopefully, we'll spend it a bit and make a push forward.
