The signings by trollop makes you wonder doesnt it. bennett may come good as maybe Jaz hopefully not so far but the goalkeeper situation is dreadful business and also we needed last season we all said a pacey striker and who do we get
oh yea Ricki Lambert a striker who didnt have pace when he was top of his game but has not played for years as he got no pace
great signing

Hang on a second now, I know Trollope gets a bashing on here at times and some of it is justified but I don't think he can be blamed for our current GK situation.
He clearly had Moore and Marshall sold from underneath him and we in desperation ended up with Amos. The Club sold those GK's not Trollope.
Not to mention Fabio, the restraint's Trollope was working under were not great were they. I think Bennett is a class signing, one of the best left backs we have had for a few years now. In term's of Ricky Lambert most of our fans were waxing lyrical over that one at the time.
Like I said, Trollope was a failure but he wasn't responsible for everything

No way would Warnock have done that, as he's said.

Where have I blamed Trollope?
He was just a yes man like Slade.
For me it was 100% the so called committee decisions, which really is Tan and Choo's decisions.

Annis, if you follow the thread back you will see that a portion of the blame for the sales is being leveled at Trollope and you have just quoted a poster who has in effect agreed with that and said he is spot on.
