Really sad to hear that fellow City fan Mark Watkins has passed away and was still so young.
I knew him well through following Cardiff City, he was loyal to the end and was one of the main City fans who stood by what he believed in over the Rebrand and through all his years was a major part of the Cardiff City Supporters club and also a massive Wales fan who travelled every where.
Mark you will be missed by all ALL RIP

I'm devastated by this news.
Mark was a top bloke who loved his football and music in equal measure. He will be greatly missed by a lot of people and my thoughts go out to Irene and the rest of his family.

Grew up with Mark and with Paul (Taffy) Thomas and Dai Wills used to go to games together home and away in the 80's.
I moved to Neath and lost regular contact although he came to my wedding
Top top bloke and used to steward for the supporters club and also wrote a great book about Ninian Park. He was also planning to write a book about the Len Ashurst promotion season in the 80's
Never had a bad word to say about anyone and always had a smile on his face
Loved his music as well as wales and the city and I know the rebrand hurt him a lot
Sad day and a great bloke will be missed by many
Hope the club remember him appropriately
RIP Mark

Lovely, friendly guy. Always helpful and did loads for fans of this club. Heartbreaking to think he's been taken from his family so, so young. Great to talk to, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, but would always listen to others.
Hard to take in.
Absolutely tragic news.

Never met the guy well don't think I have. My fb page has been swamped with condolenses for him and his family today.
Obviously a very popular and helpful guy dedicated to the Bluebirds and the national team. Definitely a great loss.
