Incredible strike by Pilkington! :notworthy:

Their first was a screamer on the volley, but Sean Morrison cost us yet again for their second, shitting out of sticking his head in where it hurts. Our captain will always be a defensive liability and it's a mystery how he's still in the team.

Murphy actually made a brilliant save to turn it onto the bar but was unlucky that the rebound hit him on the back and went in.

I didn't realise Murphy got a touch to it. That was a great save then and so unfortunate the rebound hit him and went in.

Think you are being harsh on Morrison.
Not much he could do about that goal.

Our defence did much better than theirs. We were outfought in midfield until Whitts went off and Ralls moved indide

Watch the replay, Morrison wasn't tight enough to him to start, but he still could have thrown his head/body towards the ball to at least put him off or get a block in. Instead, he hesitates, then puts his arm up to protect his face instead of going in wholehearted! What a contrast to Helguson knocking himself out on the post to score!

Think you have a ridiculous over expectation.
Glad the manager knows better

Just watched it 3 three times and it's beggars belief to say Morrison cost us that 2nd goal

Their left back goes past Harris and Pilkington like their not there and gets a cross over and Peltier is flat footed on the back stick so gets outjumped. Blame them three before you blame Morrison.

A ridiculous over expectation expecting our captain to throw his body on the line when necessary and actually CHALLENGE their player? Get real!

Ball went across and back, he had no chance of stopping it. It was a good goal.
Stop looking for a scapegoat and enjoy the win.
