" UNBELIEVABLE FROM A POOR GAME TO A HELL OF A LAST 20 MINS "

BRISTOL CITY 2 CARDIFF CITY 3 :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Crowd 19,452
Incl 2,100 Cardiff City fans :bluebird:

For the first 70mins it looked like two poor sides playing and not fighting for their lives near the bottom of the Championship.

Then when Cardiff went 2-1 down,Neil Warnock made two substitutions taking Peter Whittingham and Joe Bennet off and replaced them with Junior Hoilett and Kadeem Harris and what a difference, the game came alive.

Many fans looked like they had given up, but with a manager like Neil Warnock in charge, his teams will never give up.

Two goals from Anthony Pilkinghton and one from Kadeem Harris won the game for Cardiff 2-3 :thumbright: :bluebird:

CARDIFF FANS WENT WILD AND THE PLAYERS & MANAGEMENT SHOWED THEIR APPRECIATION AT THD END BY ALL CLAPPING US AND FISTS IN THE AIR :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Cardiff now move further away from the bottom three :thumbright:

I LOVE GAMES LIKE THIS :thumbright: :bluebird:

First half crap.

Bristol hardly sang.

Once Bristol were winning they were loud for 2mins on two occasions.
Last 10mins and at the final whistle CARDIFF fans were brilliant :bluebird:

CARDIFF FANS sing for most of the game.

But nothing like the old days, it was not like a local derby game, Bristol shocked me how bad they were in the stands.

I do as well Annis. I was a few rows behind you
And the atmosphere was bang on ! Feels like the
Good old days when the fans and players were together .
Cracking game of footie and great support . Have you read the Wales on line post ?

3 pts and the double can't ask more than that.

A few additions in next few weeks and a regrouping during the summer and who says!!!!

This meeting tomorrow will be crucial and could define us for the next few seasons.

I thought it was a dull game. And when we went 1-0 and w-1 down would of happily took a draw. But to win that and get the double over them is superb. 3 points and bang o form to start pulling away from bottom 3 with Burton etc to come we should be looking up and not down

For 70mins it was very dull, even Warnock said that.
I woud of taken a draw at that stage, but thanks to Warnocks Substitutions and never say die attitude, We got All three points :sleepy2: :bluebird:

Reading the Worzel site they are claiming we were abysmal and will most likely be playing them in league 1 next season.

This is what the Wurzels 8th defeat in a row and we needed 2 late goals for the win so yes a great 3 points and we are pulling away from the relegation zone but we are not safe yet. I still believe it is goin to be close.

Ian, We were both poor teams for 70mins, it's them who need to worry, 7 defeats in a row for them in the Championship.
I believe we will end up about 15th.

Cardiff fans were brilliant for most of the match, really enjoyed it despite on the pitch for 70 mins. Briwtols support was poor, junior and Harris asked questions and they could not answer and in the end we looked more likely to get four than them 3. Neil Warnock do t you just hate him? His sides have done that to us so many times, grabbed an equaliser or winner and you think how did that happen. Well now it's happening for us. Back in the house by 3

After todays results we are looking fairly safe now. Hopefully next Saturday we will further the distance between us and the clubs in the relegation zone. A good January and we will perhaps be no so close than I first thought.

Same as last time, Bristol were shit then. Modern football.

But, a great 3 points and this is the difference with Warnock and Slade your always in with a shout when you go down.

3 points is a big difference for us today. But it was a tight 3 points but you have to take those sometimes and as said Substitutions made a difference and a cracking strike from pilks :ayatollah:

Thought we managed the last five minutes and added time extremely well today. They never looked like getting a third and we were able to see the game out quite comfortably.

In fact as someone said earlier it looked more like we'd score again than them.

Now, the fact that they are absolute shit undoubtedly helped our cause, but it made a nice change to see us not hanging on for grim death at the end of a game we were winning.

Amazing end to the game and I too would have taken a draw when we were 1-1! The subs changed the game IMO, even though a goal was let in by us after they came on - I thought between those two players that is what won us the game! Not taking anything away from all the other players though for fighting it out! Great goal by Pilkington! :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Brilliant day and popped into Chepstow on the way back and had a drink with Dibs and co. Got back half five. Buzzing after that best away game in years.
