thanks mate, we used to have so many songs for players but k=now days its like fans dont want to have songs for players for some weird reason

The problem you got now is that all the different groups of kids want to be 'the ones' that made up a song. I have seen it on loads of times on away trips, loads of decent songs knocking about, some new ones. A group of lads will start singing something and nobody will bother joining in, then another group will start singing something else and nobody joins in that either and so the cycle continues like they are in competition with each other.

That's a Cardiff City thing though, we have a seriously high proportion of fans who think they are better than the next.

Just go in to the charts and add a players name to the song and within weeks every club up and down the country will be putting there own players name in the chant, that's modern football

As long as the song is catchy and isn't just singing their name over and over then I think it can only be a good thing,it gets the buzz among fans and the atmosphere is far better when fans have known songs to sing,I know hull got ridiculed few months back for song sheets on seats at a game but at least they are all singing the same thing that way
