' Welsh Players /CCFC ? '

I'm not writing off Richards or hues but I hope fans now realise that while we all would love more welsh players in the side they must be good enough.

That's why we need to develop our youth system and I am happy with Bellamy being involved.

Buying welsh players does not automatically guarantee passion or ability!

Cohen Griffith and Phil Stant were two of my favorite city players and would die for the shirt. Neither were welsh.

Trollopes welsh way was a disaster for us... The formation used by wales was never appropriate for us and the personnel as of yet have failed to impress.

I'm a club before country person and I hope we've all learnt that city is unique and we have our own identify... Being welsh is just a part of that but we cannot and should not try to replicate international philosophy at club level.

Yep,if he wanted to play the Welsh way he would need to have signed Bale, Rambo, Allen, etc etc.

any nationality for me as long as they give 100% and tap their heads when asked :ayatollah:

Agreed if we want more Welsh players playing for CCFC then we need to produce more via our academy.

As Capital City of Wales I think it's a disgrace we have no Welsh players in our team and it's a reason that we are crap at the moment,we are not developing our own players but buying rubbish. Let's hope Bellers unearths a few gems!
