I'd be surprised if he carries on much longer. I think he may call it a day at the end of the season and sit back and relax a bit. It will not be easy next season for whoever manages us. Therre is only so much that can be done with free transfers and bargain basement buys. I see the next few seasons as all about staying in the Championship, while hopefully seeing our debts being reduced as promised. I don't think we will have the players here to mount a serious promotion challenge any time soon.

Warnock is 69 in December we are going to have to move on at some point, he is and only ever was a short term fix.

I like Warnock but I don't believe he will get us promoted.

Nubs he's been around a long time, never rated him and his debut was shocking.

Admittedly the whole team was poor and he's not a midfielder but for me he's no better than what we've already got.

Warnock said he brought in Halford a free transfer as a back up as he didn't want to be in a position as he was in Brentford throwing a midfielder on in defence as we had no defenders on the bench also I think it is unfair to judge him when he was playing with some players who were not interested in playing.

As for Warnock lets see what happens I personally would like him to keep us up and then in the summer giving the money and support for us to go for his 8th promotion

What he's DONE in the game mean's nothing, look at Van Gaal at Man Utd as an example of an ageing manager who has done loads in the game but is now clearly out of touch and out thought by the top coaches of this era.

The truth is if we were going to get Warnock it should have been 10 years ago, that's not to say we were wrong to bring him in as after what he did to keep Rotherham up last season was a glowing endorsement for what we needed at this moment in time, avoid relegation.

However, you can't get away from the fact he is clearly not the future of this Club, he is 69 in December, his recent record (Rotherham aside) is poor, to give him a load of money in the summer would be ludicrous.

Not taking anything away from his past achievements but he hasn't been in with a shout of promotion for 6/7 years now and it's my OPINION that since the last time he won promotion from this division the league has evolved.
