Gary Lineker mocks Cardiff City's paltry FA Cup crowd on live TV as fans fume over BBC scheduling

Gary Lineker has riled Cardiff City fans with his comments about the club 'playing behind closed doors' for their FA Cup clash with Fulham yesterday.

The BBC pundit was referring to the crowd of just 5,199(incl 700 Fulham fans) that saw the Bluebirds slip to an uninspiring 2-1 defeat in the third round.

He's previously stated how he thinks the FA Cup has been badly managed by the FA over the years so think it was more a jibe at them again and the decision to allow the kick-off to occur so early.

I was under the impression Gary liked our football club, he's been complimentary towards us previously, am I wrong ??

He works for the BBC, so will deflect any critiscism from them. They are the villains of the peace here.

The Cup competition is over 100 years old and has used the same format since. It's time for change, expecially with the TV companies now having more and more influence over what is shown and the kick off times.

Gary Lineker stated on his twitter feed that "there were no glamour ties", so why were we chosen? All because BBC Wales feel left out and must show some sort of Welsh football game.

Apart from our game, every game shown this weekend was of one of the "big 6". £100k per game I think shared between the two teams. Show lower league teams who need the money.
