I can't readily see the logic of banning them in pubs but I have to admit I hate these things. I can just about understand someone framing one and hanging it on the wall as a one off commemoration, but why would anyone want to wear one, unless they're unconcerned about the outcome of the match and support both sides equally?

Guess reason would be safety as both sets fans can be in pub at same time if all had half & half scarfs!

Bullshit. Sometimes its a big deal for David playing Goliat. Its a lifetime memory when David wins, and the rest of your supporter life will for ever be up against that moment. Its the nature of being a small club supporter or player, and memorabilia is precious.

What having half and half scarfs ? Nothing to do with being a small club in my mind they are shit and would never EVER purchase one

Well, i got mine. We beat goliat, and i was 12 years old at the time. I even made my senior debut for the team that year.
i wouldn't part with it for all the money in the world.. Its my identity. and it is the same for the small communities and teams :bluescarf:

Or you could just buy a scarf in your clubs colours with the writing of the date and occasion on it. Half and half scarfs are dogshit.
