"Get yourselves down there this Sunday support the boys,Fulham got free travel do we want them out numbering us all

£10 and £3 savage value for money; Cmon and support the boys"

Dont go.
Let them outnumber us, take a stand and say no to stupid kick off times. Make them look stupid and make it look embarressing. Turn up and it will continue to happen.
Fri Jan 06, 2017 3:15 pm
As soon as this was announced on tv, it should have been £5 an adult and £1 for kids. That way a crowd of 10,000. The prices this Sunday will see may be 4,000 down there

Said exactly the same thing earlier on in the week

BBC and the Club.
It will be embarrassing for the Club to have an empty stadium being broadcast live on TV.
BBC will look ridiculous for even showing it in the first place, people won't tune in to watch what will look and sound like a training match and the viewing figures will be abysmal.
All of which could have been quite easily avoided if Cardiff and Fulham turned round and said to BBC Wales, thank you very much but we will turn you down on your offer to show the game live at 11.30 am on a Sunday Morning out of respect for our fans, done a deal on tickets to get a good crowd in and would have made just as much money on ticket sales, merchandise, food etc as whatever BBC Wales are paying them, which I might add I bet is hardly anything.
Fri Jan 06, 2017 4:11 pm
I won't be there. Warnock has made it obvious that this is not a priority as far as he is concerned. It's not high on the list of priorities for the majority of clubs in the top two divisions. The clubs don't show much enthusiasm for this cup any more, so I don't think they can expect their supporters to show much either. Not really interested in watching a reserve match at these prices.
Fri Jan 06, 2017 4:13 pm
Can I just add very quickly that I am saying this on the assumption that they can turn it down. If the FA have signed a deal with the BBC that means the Club have no say on the matter then obviously I am a bit sympathetic to the Club but the FA ought to have a re-think on it for the future.

Another excuse for some not to attend....., get behind your team/passionate manager ffs!!!!!

I like the idea of season ticket holders getting cheap tickets now and again for their friends on the odd game but that doesn't really benefit the season ticket holder. This game I think the club should have activated all season ticket cards free of charge that way they get half a tidy crowd down there as well as season ticket holders feeling a bit more appreciated.

Nah your alright thanks, why the f**k would anybody in their right mind want to pay £10 to watch Cardiff City reserves vs Fulham reserves at 11.30am on a Sunday ffs.
The only people there will be sad acts with no life outside of Football.

That would have been a great idea or perhaps each season ticket holder for £1 then £4 for anyone else? Prob would get a crowd of 10k then?
Fri Jan 06, 2017 4:36 pm
Here we go again season ticket holder argument. People moan about support then moan when the club tries to do something about it. f*cking boring.

I have a very good life and like to watch CCFC play as well - sadder that people will watch it at home when they could actually support THEIR team

Very tempted to get down there and support the boys. The last few home games have been crackers and worth every penny!
Fri Jan 06, 2017 5:12 pm
I would'nt have gone whoever we were playing. Even if it was a big club it would still have been a reserve side we would be playing against. The magic has gone for me. Does'nt seem long back we were playing our strongest team against Leeds Utd first team on what was a brilliant day, or even Sayer scoring against Spurs on another fantastic day out. The money splashing around in the PL now means that those sort of days won't be back. I'm afraid for most PL clubs Champions League football or avoiding relegation into the Championship is always going to be their priority because of the cash that goes with it. To many, the FA cup has become nothing more than a distraction from the main event.. Even if we could win the thing, most of the country would'nt pay much attention because they would know that we had won a competition full of reserve sides who had their priorities elsewhere. I would love to see this competition as big as it was 25 years ago, but that is just not going to happen.

The worst thing is that the BBC have gone totally overboard on the FA Cup since they got it back, because it's essentially the only live sport (apart from the Euros/World Cup and Olympics) they show which is worth talking about. It's annoying, because 1) the FA Cup is a shadow of the competition it once was 2) they're shoving the FA Cup down everyone's throats even before the 3rd round, which is when it really starts for me. No one gives a toss about the first two rounds!

I was with you up until the end.
We were in those first 2 rounds for years, used to love everything about it.

Apparently it's £48,000 per club

You would'nt be in any rush to get back if my wife was cooking it. Even our dustbin got ulcers. Maybe I'll go after all, be a good excuse to get something from the chippie on the way home.

As Warnock says no pressure on the game, can just sit back and hopefully enjoy it, instead of worrying we're going to get beat and fall down the table. I'm looking forward to seeing the likes of Huws and Richards playing. It's already gone to show with Zahore if someone stands out and performs, then Warnock will give them a chance. Slightly looking forward to it if I'm being honest.

Working all day so will watch it at work. But wouldn't have gone anyway. Ridiculous kick off time. A Friday night, Saturday, lunchtime Sunday or 4pm Sunday would have been fine.
Went to the 6pm kick off on the Sunday last season, and there were hardly any of us there that time. Wouldn't be shocked if it was even less this time.
Even our manager has practically admitted it's a bad kick off time for an unattractive tie.

Although it is an fa cup rule that the minimum a club can charge is £10. But I do suppose the club could subsidise the ST holders £5

This is a nothing argument. If it was Chelsea or Man Utd, we would have sold 33000.
You either want to go or you don't. Stop making shite excuses ffs!
