End of next season it says mate, so plenty of time to show what promise he has.

Sounds like he won't be thrown into the development team and to be never seen again which is refreshing. :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Cardiff City FC is pleased to confirm the signing of young forward Ibrahim Meite, subject to international clearance.

The twenty year old striker has joined the Bluebirds on a contract running until summer 2018, having impressed for Isthmian League side Harrow Borough, with whom he reached the First Round of this season's Emirates FA Cup.

Cardiff City Manager Neil Warnock spoke to Cardiff City Player HD ahead of this weekend's FA Cup Third Round tie with Fulham, and expressed his delight to have secured Meite's signature.

"He is an exciting prospect," explained Neil. "I like the look of him and it's not a difficult situation as there's not a fee.

"It's just a hunch that I had when I watched him play. We are restructuring the whole U23 situation – he's probably not going to be straight into my First Team squad, but he will train with us.

"He's got a couple of years' contract and in that time I hope he can establish himself. He's got the attributes, and if what I can see is fulfilled, he'll be a really good acquisition for us."
