“Lex immers has left the club by mutual agreement.
“He’s not been in the plans since i’ve been here in fairness.
“He’s got a lot on his plate, having a baby. It suits both parties, it frees up a wage, he can go and enjoy himself for a time back home.
“We wish him well. I’ve had no trouble with him, he’s just not been able to find the form he had when he first came.
“Just trying to thin it down, get a more sustainable squad. Cover in all areas.”

There might be something in that, 'cos he has looked shagged on the last few few occasions he's played for us!

I thought he was a free out of contract

Stunned, not that he's gone. Stunned that we may have paid £ 2 million for him. He had a good record on loan but I couldn't help thinking at the time that he was just very good at being in the right position at the right time. There was nothing in his play that suggested he was worth that sort of money - in my opinion anyway. If last summer we had 2 million in fee and thirty grand a week in wages to spend on strikers we did pretty poorly to end up with Immers and Lambert.

No mate, we signed him for a fee 100%, whether that fee was £2 million or not though I don't know, Wales Online seem to have got that figure from somewhere.

I must admit that's what I thought. If so then he was probably worth a punt but 2 million - surely not.

Weather or not we paid 2m for him it's bad business. He's only 29 and is still worth a fee. I guess their desperate to free up funds asap but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me...

I liked the Lex we had last season on loan. The strange twin we signed has been hopeless.

Good luck Lex hope you will still shop at Asda.
