The Football League Paper run a weekly feature where footballers talk about their fellow teammates. This week it's Lee Peltier who talks about his fellow Bluebirds

Best mate at the club?

That would be Anthony Pilkington, just because I’ve known him for such a long time. I’ve played at a couple of different teams with him. We were both at Huddersfield Town between 2009 and 2011 and now at Cardiff. We get on really well and he’s a good lad.

Last to buy dinner?

We’ve got a couple of guys who are quite tight, so I’d say either Stuart O’Keefe or our skipper, Sean Morrison, wouldn’t be too keen to put their hand in their pocket to buy dinner. I couldn’t pick between them but definitely either Stuart or Sean.

Worst dressed at the club?

He’s only on loan (from Bolton) but the worst dressed is our keeper, Ben Amos. We had our Christmas do recently and he came out in some of the worst gear I’ve possibly ever seen. It’s almost impossible to describe.

Dressing room DJ?

Craig Noone is normally in charge of music in the dressing room. He plays a bit of a mix of everything to be fair. It’s pretty decent and keeps most people happy.

Late for training?

That’s Kadeem Harris. He’s just late all the time, for everything. I’m not sure he even knows how to tell the time if I’m being honest!

First on the dance floor?

It’s Craig Noone again. He loves a little dance and doesn’t need much of an excuse to get going. He’s got a decent taste in music and he’s a good dancer as well. He’s got a bit of Michael Jackson in his locker. It’s quite impressive.

Teacher’s pet?

The teacher’s pet is probably Sean Morrison. He’s the skipper, so he loves the gaffer and the gaffer loves him as well.

Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party?

That’s a tough one. We’ve just had our Christmas do and no-one was too bad, but I’m going to say Joe Ralls. There’s nothing in particular that he’s done – he just can’t drink too much. If you give Joe a couple of drinks, he’s all over the place!

Worst tattoo?

Rickie Lambert has got a big liver bird on his arm, which isn’t great. Well, he says it’s a liver bird, but I think it looks more like a magpie.

Partial to a sunbed?

The most partial to a sunbed would probably be my fellow full-back, Joe Bennett. The tan he has certainly isn’t natural and he loves all that sort of stuff.

Going to make the best manager?

The best manager would probably be Anthony Pilkington, but that’s only because he’s top of our fantasy football league at the minute! I really don’t know if I want to go into coaching myself. I’ve done my badges, just to have something to fall back on. I haven’t really thought about it too much. Hopefully I’ve still got a few years of playing left in me, but I’d probably give it a go. Actually, yeah, I do fancy it!

It's a good read the 'Football League Paper'. I've only been reading it for a few weeks, after my dad picked up a copy out of curiosity one Sunday. Loads of info; lineups, goal times, attendances etc. Some interesting articles, and items like the above. Well worth getting!

Most supermarkets and larger newsagents, like WH Smith, seem to have it. It's with the newspapers, (not magazines). Comes out on a Sunday. Newspaper fomat.
