There are reports in the French media that Derby County winger Abdoul Camara is of interest to many Championship clubs - including Cardiff City.

Warnock has already stated he is looking to improve his squad in the wide positions, and Camara could well fit the bill.

The Guinea international joined Derby last January for £1.25m from French side Angers, but has found opportunities hard to come by at Pride Park - making just 11 substitute appearances.

Cardiff could face stiff competition however, with Wolves and QPR being linked with Camara - as well as French Ligue 1 sides Toulouse and Montpellier

His international record also makes good reading, in 10 appearances for Guinea he has netted four times - testament to his ability to also play as a striker.

With Rickie Lambert apparently reduced to bit-part player, and Kenneth Zohore impressing but yet to score regularly, Camara's ability to play up front could well make him a tempting prospect.

Camara could be available for about €2m according to reports.

Been a huge disappointment at Derby...was bought last January as "something different" to get them over the line into the premier league. Don't think he has actually made a start in nearly a year.
