Burton Albion will trial their singing and family zones at Cardiff City on January 21
Burton Albion will introduce family zones and singing zones for their next Championship away trip to Cardiff City. Brewers chairman Ben Robinson had previously spoken to the Burton Mail about the club looking into providing areas for families to sit at away games following comments he made about supporters standing up during the 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
And the club has now confirmed that supporters will be given the option of booking tickets for the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium on January 21 in a singing zone or a family zone. It will be a trial run for the scheme - and it could be extended to other away applicable away games if successful. Albion will still sell seats in the blocks allocated by the home club, but will place the singing zone in the first block of allocated seats. Once seats in that area are sold, there will be no more available for the singing zone and remaining tickets will be on a first come, first served basis.

A club statement read: "Burton Albion expects all fans who book in the 'singing zone' to take their allocated seat even if the home club operates a 'sit where you like' policy.
"Burton Albion expects the highest standards of behaviour from all fans inside and outside the singing zone and does not tolerate foul and abusive language from any supporters."

A club like them could probably get away with it.
If it works for them good on them.
