Steve Bruce admitted in his interview after the game that we outmatched Villa on these three important points! He said that his players felt that as Aston Villa they could just roll up and win the game but it just does not work like that in the Championship!
I think what makes Warnock so special as a Manager is that he knows how to get these things from his players and this is why he is such a good Manager at this level! These things count huge in this league and the players have a leader that they can trust that brings the best out in them.
How often have we been beaten by teams lower down the league because we lacked in these things?? What difference did Warnock make to Rotherham and what has happened to them since his departure?
Talent helps sure but what Warnock has brought to Cardiff is what he promised, blood guts and thunder! The only thing we have struggled with is momentum but we have got close. I feel we will start to develop some now.
Warnock is a class act and has already worked wonders, although not all perfect some of his signings have been just what the doctor ordered. His last one is another master stroke and Murphy has done us proud!
I feel next season will be truly amazing and I am confident that we will do the double on Swansea and make a strong challenge for promotion!
Never have I known a Manager fill me with such confidence as Warnock does, long may his reign continue!
