Ian Holloway's QPR returned to winning ways
Pawel Wszolek struck with just three minutes left as QPR won 2-1 at Wolves to end their miserable run of form in the Sky Bet Championship.
Promotion-chasing Sheffield Wednesday scored in stoppage time to draw 1-1 with Preston at Deepdale, while Gianfranco Zola's Birmingham came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at 10-man Barnsley.
Huddersfield and Blackburn drew 1-1 in the early game and struggling Wigan claimed a valuable point thanks to a 0-0 draw at Derby.

Ian Holloway's QPR side had lost their last six games and failed to scored in their previous four but ended their goal drought when Idrissa Sylla was on target in the 53rd minute at Wolves.
The forward had missed a chance just before the break but made no mistake from the edge of the six-yard box after Wszolek had crossed low from the right.
The lead did not last long, Dave Edwards of Wolves scoring his sixth goal in nine games just after the hour when he neatly volleyed home after Helder Costa had crossed.
But Wszolek found the net in the closing stages, stretching to poke a low shot past Carl Ikeme after the ball had run kindly for him to send QPR up to 19th, five points clear of the drop zone.

Play-off chasers Sheffield Wednesday were heading for defeat at Preston following Sam Hutchinson's 77th-minute own goal.
Preston, who had two goals disallowed in a dominant second half, finally got the breakthrough when Greg Cunningham was slipped in behind the defence on the left edge of the area and his low cross was deflected in off the unfortunate Hutchinson.
And the hosts came close to doubling that lead five minutes later as Aiden McGeady's strike from 20 yards cannoned back off the post.
However Wednesday pushed hard late on and Adam Reach struck in the fourth and final minute of second-half stoppage-time, smashing the ball home after a goalmouth scramble to keep the Owls in the top six.
The draw ended a run of three straight victories for the visitors, who missed the chance to jump up to third in the table.

Gianfranco Zola is still awaiting his first win as Birmingham boss, despite the Blues playing most of the second half against 10 men in their 2-2 draw at Barnsley.
The hosts raced into a two-goal lead after 28 minutes, with Tom Bradshaw scoring following fine work from Marley Watkins, before Sam Winnall headed in a second.
Jacques Maghoma pulled one back for Birmingham soon after and, following Marc Roberts' 52nd-minute red card for bringing down Che Adams in the area, Lukas Jutkiewicz equalised from the spot.

Huddersfield salvaged a 1-1 draw from their lunchtime home clash with struggling Blackburn thanks to a brilliant free-kick from Nahki Wells in the fourth-minute of stoppage-time.
The hosts were looking for a fifth straight win and almost took the lead in the very first minute, only for Jason Steele to pull off a superb double save and deny Rajiv van La Parra and Kasey Palmer.
Huddersfield went on to have the better of the match, particularly in the first 45 minutes, but were unable to get the breakthrough.
And they found themselves a goal down against the run of play with just nine minutes left when Blackburn's Liam Feeney crossed deep from the right and Danny Graham headed home.
However, Huddersfield fought on and, when Elliott Bennett fouled sub Jack Payne on the edge of the box, Wells stepped up and bent his free-kick around the wall and into the net.

Wigan defied the odds by denying Derby a sixth consecutive home victory, as they held the promotion hopefuls to a goalless draw at Pride Park.
Derby were strong favourites to beat the relegation strugglers but Wigan had the better chances and would have won with better finishing.
Will Gregg hit the post and was also denied by Scott Carson in the first half, while Derby's best moment came when a Tom Ince free-kick was superbly saved by Jussi Jaaskelainen in the second.
