We've just had a Christmas that saw us with NO home fixtures, whilst other teams had TWO. Equally, some of the distances some teams (and their fans) have had to travel is crazy and this Norwich game is a-typical of the madness that is thrown up
I appreciate that some games (like the Brentford v Norwich game tonight) are governed by Sky/BT TV schedules but surely the well-paid Football League officials have the opportunity to look at some of these anomalies before they are put out and/or agreed?

Our midweek fixtures are horrific aswell mate, no consideration for the fans.
Boro midweek 2 years in a row, Hull, Burnley, Wigan, Bolton and Brighton all been midweek at times last few years. I dont know who comes up with this.
Blackburn and Blackpool on Friday nights.
Preston, Barnsley and Blackburn on Tuesday nights this season, its ridiculous and little wonder our average away attendance is getting lower and lower.

All those night games I travelled to with City,but its just the same for other clubs,the Football Authorities do not care for the football fan.

but it really is not the same,we got the most miles over xmas AGAIN. and to put a cherry on it crap kick off times.
you posted on here about leeds taking 5500 to preston,which is fantastic support but how?
how are Leeds allowed to take 5500 to a game only 60 odd miles away with a 3 o clock k.o.no restrictions {silly K.O times are restrictions btw}

the result has been over many years our away support has suffered.
my point with leeds in this thread is not that 5500 is not fantastic support because it is.
but how can anyone justify all our restricted trips and times when other clubs seem to carry on as normal?

Sadly that's down to our own police and Wayne Nash not standing up for our Supporters and fighting our corner enough as they meet up with other clubs officials and decide on all this beforehand.
Who are the two longest trips?

nobody fights our corner and if anything those mentioned are actually the ones urging other forces to restrict our fans. its not just the last couple of years either its been going on for ages.many like you say find it a chore many more just gave up going. the one that really hit home was ironically burnley which was a 3 o clock on saturday. only 1600 to watch us win a title, 20 years earlier 3 times that amount travelled to scunthorpe to watch us win the 4th division.
