Anyone know the times for train for bristol away

What time do they leave Cardiff Central for temple meads

On the hour and half past the hour mate we are gettin the 8.00am. Takes just under an hour for about £13 return. Glad to be of help.

Been to Ashton gate by coach how is Tempe meads to the ground they say it's a fair walk

Been to Ashton gate by coach how is Tempe meads to the ground they say it's a fair walk


Yeah it's a fair old trek. No idea about buses but a cab would probably be your best bet if you don't fancy the walk.

Done it by train last year mate. Got to btm about 9:45 spoons by station until 11:20 ish. Then lots of Cardiff and Bristol in spoons all either catching buses or taxis me a mate and my lad jumped in with 3 cardiff boys last year think the 6 adults gave £2/3 each probably do same this year

Old Bill usually waiting on platform at Bristol then we get escorted to the Spoons. It's a long walk from there to Ashton Gate mate and if you stay drinking in the Spoons you eventually get a police escort to the ground. Takes about 45 mins to an hour. After the game no escort make your own way back.

Me a mate and my lad walked the 45 mins back last year had no bother at all. And called into town by stadium to get cans and all fine

Didn't encounter any problems on the walk back to the station, all quiet.

On train last year, walked to the spoons in the city centre as the station one was a little cramped. got a taxi about 11 to the ground then. great trip. about 25-30 minute walk back to temple meads after the game. Its not that much different from walking from CCS to Central
