The boss has confirmed the two October free transfers have left the club. This is what he said....

NEIL WARNOCK: "They’ve both (Richardson and Chamakh) left the club in the week.
I can’t see much movement (in the table) until we’ve improve the squad. I know what everyone can do, I’ve seen everyone now and we do need fresh blood in the squad."

To be honest, a bit surprised that Richardson has gone. I thought given our defensive frailties that over time he could have been a decent member of the squad due to his experience. Who knows the ins and outs though? Maybe he was a shit trainer. Or maybe he demanded more money after his 6 month contract was up? Not surprised by Chamakh. The guy is a waste of space.

Interested to see who Warnock brings in.

Thought Richardson would've come in when Bennett was dropped.

I wasn't expecting much from them when they came in tbh and only here for a couple of months it was worth taking at the time.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has confirmed that Kieran Richardson and Marouane Chamakh are no longer at the club.

The pair, both 32 years old, were signed as free agents in the week that Warnock was appointed as Bluebirds boss at the start of October.

"They have left this week," Warnock told Sky Sports News ahead of his side's trip to Championship leaders Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday.

"They have been good professionals, but we need to manipulate this squad and those two are easy as their contracts are up. They will both find clubs."

Former Manchester United man Richardson started only two league games and made four further appearances from the bench, while ex-Arsenal forward Chamakh made only two substitute appearances.

And just what good would 'hammering' Neil Warnock achieve?

He brought 4 players in and IMO 2 have worked well. The other 2 did-not but NW protected the club by giving them only short term deals.

TBH there seems little to 'hammer' NW for and he still has my confidence. Our collective problem is we always look for the negative rather than ways to help our manager by giving solid faith and support.

Wez and if he had still been here, we would be far better off on the pitch and in the long run he would be cheap.
We've been paying £16,000 a week for a useless goalie who helped get Bolton relegated and conceded more goals than any other Championship goalie.
Bolton fans do not want him back.

Marshall was a top Championship goalie and controlled our defence,they knew they had safe hands behind them a fact.

Marshall wanted to go to play premiership football and was promised this a year before he went so the club couldn't stop him but 16k 25k is madness for a 2nd tier team to pay
