Talksport this morning

Wed Dec 28, 2016 5:56 pm

Did anyone hear the Toshack interview this morning l caught the tail end of it so l assume he was on regarding his thoughts on the Swansea situation,Jim White was very respectful of all that Tosh had achieved in the game and of course he was asked about Liverpool but l didn't hear anything regarding his time at the City and Tosh didn't mention it either of course he may well have done though he spoke with great affection on his time at the Jacks and l was left wondering if he still feels bitter about being snubbed by the club? The thing that can't be denied though is that possibly two biggest mistakes the football club has ever made in its history was firstly selling him when they did,and then not taking him back when they had the chance.

I heard it mate and no he didn't mention Cardiff, though in fairness it wasnt relevant to the theme of the morning.
He talked about the situation at Swansea town and whilst being respectful he clearly isn't impressed.
He did say that maybe their chairman and the board are less committed now they are employed rather than owners (or whatever they were). He also ducked the question about going back there. Not a chance is what he meant and also hinted that Coleman would not want it.
He followed a good interview with Bob Bradley who came across with a lot of dignity, though a bit uninspiring imo.
The Liverpool questions were about last night's game and their title bid. Though Tosh started talking about Shankley etc.

Another great show from Jim White

He's always been bitter about cardiff some even say it's because he didn't play in the Real Madrid game which city won but he left for liverpool he probberly thought city wouldn't beat them but they did without him
