Admiring glances at Aron Gunnarsson

Cardiff City put Gunnarsson out in the shop window, they had offers of a £million, but thankfully wanted £2million.

There was interest in Aron Gunnarsson from all over Europe after his European exploits, but it never materialised and thank heavens, because at that point still a peripheral figure you can't be sure the club would have been able to resist.

Now he is integral and inspirational, a marvel to watch and lifting the spirits of fans and team-mates alike.

It will not have gone unnoticed; Gunnarsson and Miles Jedinak by far and away the best two defensive midfielders in the division of the last couple of months.

When the summer comes around Gunnarsson will have just one year left on his Bluebirds deal. Both player and club will then have a huge decision to make.

Ill be honest haven't seen him this season ,but when i have like Ledley can't make the simplest of passes, how he's Icelands captain i'll never know, runs around without actually doing anything.

Woody on this I totally disagree, yes makes mistakes, but is everywhere and battles/gives his all, defends well, attacks well and is a leader, shone in the Euros and Warnock rates Gunners very highly :thumbright: :thumbright:
