If travelling by train you only need to buy a ticket to Haywards Heath. The remainder of the journey via either Brighton or Lewes to Falmer station (Amex) is free, if you have a valid match ticket.
If travelling by car then the Car Parking and bus from the Park and Ride are free. The best P&R car park, if travelling down the A23, is Mill Road, which lies to the right hand side of the first roundabout you meet when entering Brighton.
